A Homebrew Air Compressor
So, you always wanted to build an air compressor?
This page describes details of a homebrew air compressor, using a Briggs and Stratton lawn mower engine driven by a washing machine motor. It is intended as merely a description of what the author has constructed, not as a construction plan.
Acknowledgement:
This page is made possible through the generous gesture of Iver Viljoen and Alan Buchanan, principal designers of this project. Iver has also kindly provided detailed construction notes and photos.
A huge thank you to Tanya, without which, this page wouldn't have exsisted. *hugz*

Homebrew projects have always captivated the attention of tinkerers. Whether we actually end up building something or not, seeing what others do will always inspire us. If you do decide to get your feet wet, please take the usual precautions of safety and common sense.
